Another week of rippin' lips..
Above is a panorama of lake winthrop yesterday evening. shortly after i took this picture, Puzz hauled in the hog you see pictured below, weighing in at 4.11 lbs.
I managed to scoop 3 bass into the boat yesterday, none of them weighing much more than a pound, so there's a picture of me acting a fool. The picture above was taken earlier in the week at the ashland rez, but more importantly is the rig shown in the picture. Puzz has been absolutely killin it with the tex rig.

2012 full speed ahead
It's been awhile. Even though we haven't posted in a minute, that doesn't mean we haven't been pullin in chunks... here we go time to catch up on the season thus far.
We fished a little tourney on Farm Pond last week... I took this photo of Puzz as he hooked the chunk in the next picture
This slab would have won us 2nd place, weighing in at a mere 3.13lbs.... rookie-n00b move, we set him free, figuring someone would have use beat and forgetting about the second place prize. Lets just say we both learned a lot fishing our first derby, and we're ready for the next one!
The morning after the derby, we hit Lake Winthrop before the sun did.
We found a strip of coast that gave up the fish you see in the pictures to follow:
I caught this healthy lookin 1.3lb slab, followed by a monster 5lb lookin bass that I couldn't wrangle into the boat... he broke my line just out of arms reach; time for a net and some high-test line...
Then it was Puzz who struck big! Crankin in this 4.14lb Larry. Awesome catch...
And that's our 2012 so far in a nutshell (minus a few less noteworthy trips and fish).
